New Imp Studio is a full-equipment stage on Norfolk Street in Nelson, Pendle, in the heart of the community. Bands book the whole venue, young and SEND musicians get their first taste of performing, and everyone leaves knowing what a real gig feels like.
Community first
SEND students, home-educated learners and youth groups get selected daytime slots with patient, accessible sessions.
Beyond the rehearsal
Podcasts, marketing help, merch through Pendle Makers Space and introductions to other bands, promoters and venues.
Full equipment included
PA and monitors, backline, drum kit, mics and stands are all set up and waiting. Bring your own breakables — sticks, skins, strings and cymbals — or leave a small deposit to use ours.

Podcasts, marketing and networks
We host bands for podcast sessions in the venue, help shape the way you present yourselves online, and connect you with local communities and further afield through our socials. Pendle Makers Space handles merch, designs and clothing when you're ready to put your name on something.
